So much excitement around here lately! Countdown to New Baby is officially ON (8 weeks to go, eeeeeeeeeep), so we're trying to prepare. Step 1: Potty Training. The goal: only one butt in diapers. The method: Big Girl Panties. All the time. The results: um. Well...

OF COURSE WE DID CLEAN IT UP. Just in case you were feeling the suspense.

Yeah, I know that squirrels are basically just a cuter rat. But that doesn't keep me from feeling heart-sore whenever I see a wee tossed, broken body from miscalculation on a wrong mad dash across our busy street.

Rain rain rain all day, and I have been in the foulest of moods. Have hit the mid-month posting wall.

Nope. All I want to do is complain about my squeezy head and simultaneously sleep and look up recipes for Thanksgiving. And that will not be fun for you to read.

So consider this lack of post a bit of mercy from me to you. Instead I will post a video of goats trying to get on a bus. Crazy northwestern goats!!

Down the Rabbit Hole

It started with a simple email from the FYC. A forward from a greyhound group leader in New Hampshire with the subject line "Another Reason to Love Dogs. " The email told the sweet story of a sweet greyhound named Jasmine who lives at a wildlife rescue center in England. This email touched on my heart's sweet tooth, prompted a mad Googling session and OMG YOU GUYS. 

First I found this story, and the photos left me melted all over my keyboard.

Exhibit A - Jasmine and Bramble. Argghhhh makes me feel like I have eaten a pint of Cherry Garcia, in a good way:

Ha ha ha my co-bloggess is so funny. I was wearing my LL Bean boots, and of course my enormous belly, but just went to the gym. Not to mention I have NO speakers on my crapass computer in my office so had to wait until I got home to make SURE my mighty Friday video was indeed cute.
